Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating a Vormation account or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. What Vormation is

Vormation is a private, squad-scoped analysis tool for League of Legends five-stacks. It reads completed-match data for the players in your squad (via Riot Games' official API) and produces role fit, lineup, and performance analysis intended as a coaching/training aid for your own squad. It is not an official Riot Games product, is not a replacement for the game's ranked ladder or any official skill-ranking system, and doesn't provide real-time or in-game assistance.

3. Riot Games

Vormation isn't endorsed by Riot Games and doesn't reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing Riot Games properties. League of Legends and Riot Games are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc. Your underlying League of Legends account and data remain subject to Riot's own terms, and we don't control Riot's service availability or accuracy.

4. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and hold a League of Legends account in good standing.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the underlying Riot API key or bulk match data from the service;
add a player to a squad's tracked roster without their consent, or attempt to circumvent the consent flow described in our Privacy Policy;
use Vormation to harass, dox, or make decisions that unfairly disadvantage a real player;
use the service in a way that would violate Riot Games' own Terms of Service or API policies;
resell or redistribute data obtained through the service to a third party.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Vormation offers a free tier. Paid tiers, if you choose one, are billed through Stripe on a recurring subscription basis and can be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. 7. Intellectual property

Vormation's own software, design, and analysis methodology belong to us. We claim no ownership over Riot Games' intellectual property, including game data, champion names, or assets — those remain Riot's.

8. Disclaimer

Vormation's analysis is a statistical, uncertainty-aware estimate based on historical match data — it is not a guarantee of in-game performance and shouldn't be treated as an official rating. The service is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Vormation, including decisions made based on its analysis.

10. Termination

You can stop using Vormation and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, including violations of Riot's own policies through use of our service.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes

We'll update the date at the top of this page when these Terms change, and post material changes prominently before they take effect.
